When will I have access to my accelerated term courses?
Access to Accelerated Term Courses will only be available during the time that the particular course is in session. For example, session B courses will only be available during the specified weeks for that session, not the entire semester.

What effect do firewalls have on Web-based distance learning?
It is up to the student to be sure that any personal firewalls they have in place are allowing cookies from TCC. Check to be sure that your security settings are set to Medium to allow cookies. Programs like "Window Washer", which delete cookies, should be turned off while accessing Distance Learning. Call your Internet Service Provider to find out more about Firewalls they may be using.

Am I accepting Cookies?
Check to see that you are accepting cookies. You should check with your particular browser's Help section for details on accepting Cookies. It is up to you to make sure that any other firewalls are letting cookies through from TCC. Programs like "Window Washer", which delete cookies, should be turned off while accessing Distance Learning. Call your Internet Service Provider to find out more about Firewalls they may be using.

I've registered but I still can't log on
Students should verify that they are enrolled in a Web-based or Web-assisted course. Some classroom courses do not use the Blackboard system and therefore not all students will have access. You can check your account status and schedule on EagleNet.

Can I access Distance Learning if I use AOL?
Students using AOL for internet access must minimize the AOL window and use Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, or Apple Safari to access Distance Learning. Please see the Browser Check to verify that your current browser is supposed by Distance Learning.

Am I using the correct browser version?
Distance Learning only supports certain versions of Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Apple Safari, based on your current operating system. Please use the Browser Check to verify your current operating system and browser version are compatible with the Distance Learning system.

Do I have my Username and Password right?
Be sure that you are typing your username and password correctly and that the CAPS LOCK is not on. Your username and password will be the same as that of your student e-mail account. The user name is typically comprised of the first four or five letters of your last name followed by three digits.
