About

The faculty support team in the Center for Distance Learning (CDL) assists faculty in developing the skills, knowledge, and abilities in developing distance learning courses and using instructional technology. Our goals are to assist you in enhancing course quality, facilitating student collaboration, and increasing student engagement and success.

The CDL team will provide a wealth of resources to help support your instruction, whether in the face to face or distance learning classroom. We will offer training and assistance in the design and implementation of web based, web assisted, and hybrid courses. In addition, we will provide training on instructional software, assistance with multimedia development, access to Blackboard tutorials, and more! We are your one stop shop for all of your distance learning and instructional technology needs!

Faculty Development Computer Lab

Situated on the third floor of the Academic Computing Building, room 335, the Faculty Development Lab is a dedicated resource space to provide faculty and adjuncts with support and training in the use of technology within the curriculum. There are computers equipped with a variety of tools and general and specialized software packages.
