Academic Search Complete - offers full-text articles for 4,490+ scholarly, academic, and popular journals, (3638 peer-reviewed) - abstracts and indexing for nearly 8,150 journals dating back to 1984. Among the special features: sort by peer-reviewed journals, limit by page length, sort by relevance. This program provides an on-line tutorial "Quick Tour".
Communication & Mass Media Complete (Ebsco) - CMMC contains full text articles for 380 journals, some as far back as 1915, (abstracts for 700 journals), a Communication Thesaurus, and features over 5,000 Author Profiles, covering the most prolific, most cited, and most frequently searched for authors in the database.
Gale PowerSearch (Gale) - PowerSearch provides seamless cross searching of Gale Virtual Reference Library eBooks and InfoTrac Periodical content. JSTOR  - Full-text of back issues of over 700 core scholarly journals in 45 discipline areas in the humanities, social sciences, and sciences. As of January 2011, JSTOR began adding current subscriptions to its database, but many titles have a gap of 1-5 years between current issues and back issues. Think of JSTOR as Journal Storage, primarily an archival database

PubMed: (National Library of Medicine) - PubMed was developed by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI). Health & Wellness  - Contains 900+ popular magazines, scholarly professional journals, newspapers, definitions, directories, and information on: Dental Adhesives, Dental Anesthesia, Dental Care, Dental Fillings, Dental Restorations, and more. Virtual Reference Library  (Gale) - Gale Virtual Reference Library is a database of encyclopedias, almanacs, and specialized reference sources for multidisciplinary research. These reference materials once were accessible only in the library, but now you can access them online from the library or remotely 24/7. Because each library creates its own eBook collection, the content you see may vary if you use the database at different libraries

LINCCSearch Online Catalog  - An index to the resource collections of the 28 public community colleges in Florida, representing 60+ libraries. Search statewide or limit to a specific campus to identify books, magazine subscriptions, audio-visual materials, and other items. Search by author, title, subject, or keywords. Resources are identified for availability, but are not full-text online.
WorldCat via FirstSearch (OCLC) - The world's most comprehensive bibliography, with more than 55 million bibliographic records representing over 400 languages on materials ranging from stone tables to electronic books. WorldCat includes information from 2100 BC to the present with thousands of records containing evaluative content such as tables of contents, cover art, book summaries and notes about the authors. It uses the Library of Congress Subject Headings as its thesaurus. Users can also directly browse issues of periodicals in the ArticleFirst database from bibliographic records for these titles in WorldCat. WorldCat adds value to other databases in FirstSearch by linking citations to holdings that help users find these materials in their own libraries and to the Interlibrary Loan service. FirstSearch

FirstSearch  - Collection of 13 partial text databases with topics ranging from the arts and humanities (Camio) to history (ArchiveGrid) science and medicine (Medline). Specific multiple databases [ up to 3] can be searched simultaneously or use topic features to extend search. All listed databases include the "my library owns" feature for subscriptions received at TCC, some of which are not published electronically.

Flagler College Proctor Library
Flagler College provides a number of on-line full-text databases accessible to their students using Flagler passwords. Flagler students enrolled with TCC are eligible to use these databases.
